“Cool shirt!  Where did you get that?”  “I designed it.“  “No way!”  “Yes way.”  “For real?!”  “Yah, I rock.”  “Oh that’s right!”

You too could be that dude.

Who out there has the graphical gravitas required to design a killer T?    I know Carlos does.

Do it for the children.  T-shirt proceeds go directly to support local IDSA events on college campuses.

Our IDSA Southern District VP suggested a interesting summer event idea during a recent officer's meeting - we liked it so much, we wanted to share it with you!

For many of us, summertime means baseball season - cool summer nights, cold beer, and ballpark hotdogs!  Getting all of our members to one game would be tricky, and for many of us, includes a long drive - so what better way to get people involved than a little team rivalry!

From now through the end of August, we want to organize a trip to your local ball park, to catch all the minor league action.  For the folks in Upstate SC, it's your hometown Greenville Drive.  Charlotte members will catch the Charlotte Knights in action, while Triangle members can see the legendary Durham Bulls!

Charlotte Knights host the Louisville Bats
Saturday, July 16th

Greenville Drive host the Lexington Legends
Saturday, August 6th

Durham Bulls host the Charlotte Knights
Saturday, August 27th

To make this possible, and enjoy a break on group ticket prices, we'll need the support of our members!  We'll need to get an accurate head count at least TWO WEEKS prior to game night, and need at least 15-20 people to secure a discounted block of tickets at each park.  If this sounds like an event you don't want to miss, send us an email!  Simply type your Team Name in the subject line, and be sure to include your name and number of guests in the email.

Details to follow....  Check back to see where this month's T3 event will be held!

Big thanks go out to both the Brier Creek Ale House staff, but also all the folks that made it out after work.  We had a great turnout, plenty of familiar faces as well as a few new ones!  We hope the almost, nearly, just about in-Durham location this month made it easier for some of you coming from the far reaches of the Triangle.  Did you miss out on this month's event... just have too much going on?  We know who you are.  Don't worry, we'll have another Thirsty Thursday next month!

Congratulations to all of our raffle winners, and of course, our sponsors!  Without their support and the efforts of our tireless Chapter Officers, none of this would be possible.  Keep it tuned right here to find out where June's Thirsty Third Thursday event will be held – it's right around the corner!

A big thanks goes out to all those that skipped out of work early, and the great staff at Boylan Bridge BrewPub for helping make our monthly Thirsty Third Thursday event possible!  The weather held up for us, though it got a tad chilly as the sun fell.  It's hard to beat the craft-brewed beers, view of Raleigh's "skyline," and good conversation.
